Lyric Game Manifesto - Essay
A downloadable Manifesto-Essay
This is a lyric game for those that have maybe never heard this type of TTRPG before or seen many of them.
This is a Manifesto for the direction I want my art to take, feel, and help others understand what possibilities their art can be in the coming years.
This is an essay. The reflective kind about life experience.
This is a piece of my art that I can't quite pin down what "it" is exactly.
But I know it's something that can maybe help others.
I hope you enjoy,

Hi. I really loved this. It's absolutely beautiful and I wanted to tell you that it inspired me to create my own lyric game. It here if you are interested.
Thank you!! ðŸ˜ðŸ¥º
I’m proud of you for making art about your own experiences. I will be rating 5 stars and sharing.

Hi! Thanks for this honest and essential work! I have started writing lyric games myself a few months ago, even though I didn't know this category existed (people reading my work told me, "hey, it's kindof a lyric game" and I said "Oh, what's that?") now I've read your manifesto and it confirms a lot of what I'm thinking and feeling about my work, my art in general, and lyric games in particular. This is beautiful, simple in a way and refreshing because it speaks to the parts already bubling up and showing more and more in my life these months ;)
I hope my commentary isn't too long (I am not used to doing this) it's just always nice to meet like-minded spirits. Heart on you!
Not too long.
I’ve thought about how to respond to your comment for a little while and I think I finally found some of the words: thank you.
I have been writing poetry since I was 15 and haven’t really stopped since. Even my games that are more prose are lyrical and poetic. You can stop submitting to lit mags but all the things you’ve read and how you write evolves but yet stays the same. It just gets better you know?
But, most of all, I’m glad you have found a kindred spirit through this. I hope it inspires you and keeps you going and creating more and more. Thank you.
This is gorgeous and vulnerable and patient, and it makes me want to make a lyric game! Thank you for making this!
Let me know if/when you do so! I'd love to read and review it!
