The Village is in Hysteria. Accusations of Witchcraft are flying every which way and no one is safe from the Gallows. You are hoping to ride out the trials and live your life as normal as possible until things settle down.
Only one problem:
You are the only real Witch in the Village. You made a deal with the Devil long ago.
You are the evil they seek to extinguish.
A WITCH, A GALLOWS BIRD is a Wretched and Alone game.
To play you will need:
- Something to write with
- A standard deck of cards (jokers removed)
- A tumbling block tower (optional)
- 1d6 (a six sided die)
- 10 tokens
This game deals with themes of betrayal, fear, isolation, suspense, paranoia, despair, violence, and death.
Please care for yourself first. You can walk away when it's too much and come back later.

This was my first game in this rules system and it won't be my last. Absolutely chilling experience building dread and desperation with each roll of the die and each turn of the cards. Every element of the game works well together to enhance each other and keep the tension high. I'll definitely be looking out for more from this creator in the future!
